SEP/2011 JUN/2014 Master Xiamen University/ Xiamen, P.R. China Ningshao Xia Biochemistry & virology JUL/2015 JUN/2019 Ph.D. Tsinghua University / Beijing, P.R. China Gong Cheng Infectious Diseases JUL/2019 JUN/2021 Postdoctoral Fellow Tsinghua University / Beijing, P.R. China Gong Cheng Infectious Diseases

Dr. Zhu currently serves as the assistant investigator of the School of Medicine at Tsinghua University. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2019 from Tsinghua University and furthered his postdoctoral training at the School of Medicine, Tsinghua University, during 2019–2021. Dr. Zhu’s research is focused on the molecular basis of mosquito-borne virus transmission. Interactions between mosquitoes, viruses, and hosts are deciphered at the molecular, biochemical, cellular, and animal levels, thus developing novel approaches to control these viral diseases spreading in nature. He serves as a member of the committee of Young Investigators in Virology (under 45 years old), Chinese Society of Microbiology.
